DETAILS

This Epic Armory best-selling Corsair Cutlass is a single-edged blade with a handguard specifically designed for Dark Elf raiders. The sword measures 95 cm long from tip to pommel, with a 65 cm blade. The blade curves slightly and thickens toward the tip with a false edge on the reverse to give it the slashing and piercing power needed to dominate a bloody battlefield. The handguard adds a sleek look and protects the ergonomic grip of the split leather-wrapped handle.

The blade was designed for dark uses, but it's an excellent choice for anyone looking for an exotic-looking machete. Made with durable closed-cell foam around a solid fiberglass core and finished with a heavy-duty latex coating, you can be sure your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you desire when building your kit.

INSPIRATION

• The dark elves were first mentioned in Norse mythology as the “Dökkálfar” or “Svartálfar”, written in the 13th century Prose Edda.
• JRR Tolkien mentions the dark elves, the "Moriquendi" in The Silmarillion
• They are also known as "Drow" in the Dungeons & Dragons Universe , popularized by RA Salvatore's Dark Elf trilogy .
