Chinese Sabre



The history of China is marked by social conflicts that led to wars, revolutions and other events that led to the development of some unique weapons. The Chinese sabre, for example, is exactly this type of weapon: a cavalry sabre that was also used by infantry soldiers in the field.



The Cold Steel Chinese Sabre is made from hand forged carbon steel. The blade has a hollow blade running through ¾ of the blade and is moderately curved along its length, ending in an upward curved tip. The handle features an engraved brass guard in a classic style. The handle has a braided wooden core with black silk cord and topped with a brass pommel. The scabbard is made from wood covered in black leather and fitted with brass fittings.



Although undoubtedly a Chinese sabre, this sword could easily be used by any steppe warrior reenactor and is particularly suited to Mongolian, Chinese and Manchurian reenactors.
