Enjoy Chinese Sword Breaker
Breaks Chinese swords with scabbards
With their rectangular, sometimes hollow blade cross-section and razor-sharp edges, ancient Chinese swordbreakers were ideal for perfectly delivering blows with maximum impact. Basically, such blows could throw the opponent's sword so far that they had virtually no chance of quickly recovering it for self-defense. At their best, swordbreakers lived up to their name and could break or bend conventional swords and many other weapons in a single blow, or render them unusable! In both cases, they were absolutely powerless against the swordbreaker's formidable and merciless spearhead. Fortunately, very few had to face this absolute powerhouse in battle, because due to its size and weight, only fighters with above-average strength and agility could properly wield the swordbreaker. But in the hands of a physically strong and experienced warrior, it was the scourge of the battlefield in close combat.
When designing the replica of this unique and rare weapon, Cold Steel® drew inspiration from an original antique piece they had the privilege of collecting and examining in China. The sturdy, solid wooden handle has a ridged section that ensures a secure grip and is fitted with beautiful cast nickel silver fittings. The round blade guard features detailed decorations, and the majestic five-lobed pommel forms a perfect counterweight to the blade, making it easy to swing. The beautiful 1055 carbon steel blade features a traditional rectangular cross-section and a hollow blade surface.
The beautiful appearance of the Cold Steel® sword breaker with a wooden scabbard matching the handle and nickel silver fittings. This sword breaker is very popular with both martial artists and historical reenactors. It is both a beautiful collectible and a battle-ready instrument that is sure to be a conversation piece.
Carbon steel 1055
The carbon content and relatively low levels of other materials in this steel make it a very stable material, free from the brittleness inherent in most high-carbon steels. This steel is ideal for blades that require high impact resistance and is therefore often used for large fixed knives, machetes, and swords.
