Enjoy Medieval Steel Knee Pads (Pair), 15th Century

Medieval steel kneepads, a pair, 15th century

Reduced defective item: Compared to the standard SPQR-AP506 version, these knee pads are made of approximately 1.4 mm thick steel (instead of 2 mm). The leather straps are light brown instead of black, and there is slight rust in some places. For these reasons, this item has a reduced price.

Please note that reduced-price products that are expressly identified as defective cannot be returned.

Important:

Several knee pads with similar defects are offered here. The images shown are for illustrative purposes only; errors vary from copy to copy.

Wearable reconstruction of a 15th-century plate knee armor. Each knee pad is made of 1.4 mm thick steel and lined with a riveted layer of soft black suede on the back. It is fitted with an adjustable leather strap with a brass buckle for individual size adjustment.

These knee humps are equally suitable for medieval reenactment, LARP, stage, and costume. They are best suited to late medieval settings and are ideal for completing a European knight's armor.

Knee pads are sold in pairs.

Details:

- Material: approx. 1.4 mm steel, suede lining and leather straps with brass buckles

- Dimensions (width x height): approx. 15 x 13 cm

- Depth of curvature: approx. 7 cm

- Weight (pair): approx. 720 g

The above specifications may vary slightly from copy to copy.

To ensure the armor is right for you, remember to take your measurements with the gambeson (and/or any other garment or chain you plan to wear underneath).

The steel used here is not stainless and may show slight signs of corrosion. We recommend regular maintenance of the plate armor, for example with Ballistol, a universal oil ideal for preserving steel products.
