Replica of the Mare's Leg , a Winchester Model 1892 lever-action short rifle used by Josh Randall, Steve McQueen's character in the TV series Josh / The Bounty Hunter (original title: Wanted: Dead or Alive, 1958–1961) and therefore also known as the Winchester Randall or Randall Special . The term Mare's Leg has now become a general term for Winchester carbines with a shortened barrel and stock. This compact, modified version was popular with Wild West bounty hunters because it could be carried concealed with a leg holster and used one-handed.



Our reproduction of this iconic western weapon features a resin (imitation wood) stock and brass fittings that contrast beautifully with the blackened barrel. It can be cocked and struck and is equipped with a functional repeating lever.
