RFB Buckler

The monstrous undead with a hammer the size of your head has you in its sights, and you find yourself without an ally. Your usual tactic is to avoid battle and choose your fights strategically. There's no time now.

You duck under the first blow, keeping your RFB Buckler between the hammer and your soft body. You're faster than the rotting monstrosity, but in your desperation you stumble and roll. Again the hammer falls, and you raise your RFB Buckler to catch the force. Your small shield holds, buying time while your friends finally come to your aid.

DETAILS

The Epic Armoury RFB Buckler is a small, versatile latex shield inspired by skilled swordsmen throughout history. This 14-inch round shield features a neutral design befitting many character types, sculpted and painted to resemble wood edged with shiny iron.

Use this left-handed RFB shield with two canvas arm straps on the back, secured with hard EVA foam for a reliable, solid grip that's built to last. Feel confident that this latex shield will withstand the constant abuse of LARP with regular latex maintenance.

• Originally developed for Bucellarii, personal armies of wealthy landowners in the late Roman Empire
