.45 Cal Cavalry Revolver – The Roar of the Wild West

Born to ride with the brave, this revolver marked the boundary between law and chaos.

Designed in 1873 by Samuel Colt , the Single Action Army revolver, known as the Peacemaker , became the quintessential sidearm of the Old West. Its 7.5-inch version, like this cavalry reproduction, was chosen by the U.S. Army for its range and reliability in mounted combat.

But it soon left the uniform and passed into the hands of sheriffs, settlers, outlaws, and justice seekers. Its compatibility with the famous Winchester M1873 ammunition made it an indispensable tool for everyday survival in the West.

Over time, it acquired names that reflected its reputation: Peacemaker , for its apparent promise of order; Frontier , for its presence in the westward expansion; and Widowmaker , for the lethal effectiveness that accompanied it.

Hollywood was quick to immortalize him. He appeared in dozens of classic Westerns, always alongside icons like John Wayne and Gary Cooper , and was worn by real-life figures like Theodore Roosevelt and General George S. Patton .

A Piece of History in Your Hands

This non-functional replica , manufactured in Spain by Denix , faithfully reproduces the original design. It is made of metal with a real wooden grip and includes a simulated loading and firing mechanism along with a rotating drum.

An ideal piece for collectors, historical reenactors or lovers of the legendary West.
