The cult status of the Colt Single Action Army Revolver of 1873 ( M1873 , also known as the SAA , Peacemaker, or simply Colt .45 ) is indisputable. Developed on the basis of a patent by Samuel Colt, this cartridge revolver was a robust pistol with a closed frame, a six-shot revolving drum, and a right-handed ejector. Aside from the Winchester carbine, hardly any firearm better symbolizes the Wild West than the Colt SAA. This true piece of Americana has been produced in a variety of barrel lengths, but its overall appearance has remained unchanged since its introduction.

Our very well made replica of this world famous western weapon is the compact version, called snub-nosed (or snub-nosed ) extra-short barrel (2.5 inches / approx. 6.4 cm). It has handles made of synthetic resin with a wood look and burnished metal elements with an antique finish. Like the original, it has a 6-chamber rotating drum, which is further rotated by tensioning the cock and can be fitted with the supplied decorative cartridges. The cartridges are fed through a pivoting side loading hatch.

Our firearm replicas are used exclusively for recreational and decorative purposes. The mechanics of the revolver are fully movable, but this reproduction is not functional or capable of firing.
