In the history of the spear, the leaf-shaped tip was a recurring form. It was used for hunting and fighting as early as the Bronze Age and was used in a wide variety of forms in many periods and cultures, from the Celts to the ancient Romans and from the Greeks to the Vikings, well into the Middle Ages.



The spearhead we offer here is made of heat-treated EN45 carbon steel. It is approximately 31.5 cm long, has a broad blade of approximately 20 cm long and two holes allow it to be mounted on a wooden handle of your choice to create your own spear. Delivery is without shaft and without fixing material.



Alternatively, collectors can also purchase our wooden spearhead stand (sold separately, item number 1816375000) to stylishly display their treasures in their armory.



Please note that this spearhead was primarily designed as a collector's item, decorative item or accessory and is not suitable for display combat! The tip of the blade is not rounded and the edges are not sharpened but ground (with proper equipment and practical experience they can be sharpened if necessary).

The steel used here is not stainless and may show slight signs of corrosion. We recommend taking care of the spearhead periodically, for example with Ballistol, a universal oil ideal for preserving steel products.
