These types of arm protectors (engl. voiders ) were used in the late Middle Ages and were mainly sewn or attached to clothing (gambeson).

The price includes the chain guard for both arms.

The chain mail rm is made of rings with a diameter of only 6 mm. According to the original templates, it consists of a row of riveted rings (round rivet heads) and a row of perforated rings. Due to the extremely small diameter of the rings, these chain mails could then and now be made of steel with a material thickness of only 1 mm without losing their strength. This results in a weight reduction of about 30 - 35%. We abbreviate this type of braid rm (english = roman maille ) because it was already very popular among the Celts and Romans (hamata). This ring chain mail braid was in use throughout the late Middle Ages.
