This portable and fully mobile replica of late medieval leg plate armour protects the thighs to approximately below the knees and has the multi-layered design typical of late medieval Gothic plate armour (15th/16th century). It is made from 1.6 mm (16 gauge) steel and blackened on the inside for better protection against corrosion.



The leggings consist of humps (or knee pads ), diechlings and short greaves. A carriage is used to ensure the necessary mobility, on which the individual elements are connected to each other by means of strong steel rivets. The diechlings are flanged and the knee pads are equipped with flower-shaped, slightly inwardly curved steel discs riveted to the sides.

Three adjustable leather straps of approximately 3 mm thickness with brass buckles are riveted to the back. This means that individual size adjustment can easily be made.



These articulated leg guards are equally suitable for medieval reenactment, larp, ​​stage, TV/film and costume. They are ideal for late medieval and renaissance settings and will make your transformation into a proud and noble knight or warrior simply perfect!



It's a pair, so there is protection for both legs.

The steel used here is not stainless and may show slight signs of corrosion. We recommend maintaining the plate armour regularly, for example with ballistol, a universal oil ideal for preserving steel products.
