The Practical Plus Wakizashi has a carbon steel blade, which is tempered at the edge and therefore has a clearly recognizable hardness line ( hamon yo). Real ray skin was used on the tsuka , with a tsuka-ito to increase the quality of the grip.

The Practical Plus Wakizashi's fittings are decorated with a hornbeam motif. It also features the dragon menuki and a beautiful iron tsuba with a sunburst design and a brass habaki .
