Hand-forged medieval pine chip holder with candle holder

From the Stone Age until the 19th century, pine shavings were the preferred lighting medium.


This chip holder, also known as a lightstick, was hand-forged based on historical models. The chip is simply inserted into the mouth of the pliers. Depending on the angle of inclination, it glows brighter and faster, or dimmer but longer.

This model is combined with a candle nozzle and is equipped with feet.
