Hand forged medieval pine chip holder with candle holder



From the Stone Age to the 19th century, pine shavings were the preferred lighting medium.



This chip holder, also known as a lightstick, was hand-forged based on historical models. The chip is simply inserted into the mouth of the pliers. Depending on the angle of inclination, it glows brighter and faster or less brightly, but for longer.



This model is combined with a candle holder and is equipped with feet.
