Lorica hamata with double shoulders, spring steel id 8 mm

The lorica hamata was the typical chain mail of the Roman legionary.

Includes the double shoulder (neck portion) shown in the same material with authentic brass buttons and hooks and leather trim. The leather is vegetable tanned.

The chainring mesh by the way: This non-riveted chainring mesh is made of high-quality spring steel. Due to its good price-performance ratio, it is ideal for beginners who still value good protection and solid quality. The braid is 4 in 1. We call this type of braid btw (English = b utted t ensile w ire).
< br>The rings are untreated so they may rust, but they give the braid an authentic look.

We offer these Roman chainmails in three sizes (M, L and XL) as standard. The dimensions of the individual sizes are measured fully stretched.
