Chain skirts and aprons were particularly popular in the late Middle Ages, as in this period plate armour prevailed and only the exposed parts and the crossings were protected with ring armour. Our chain skirts are also suitable as excellent starting material.

The chain net by the way: This unriveted chainring net is made of high-quality spring steel. Due to its good price-performance ratio, it is ideal for beginners who still value good protection and solid quality. The braid is 4 in 1. We call this type of braid btw (english = b utted t ensile w ire). The rings are untreated, so they can rust, but they give the braid an authentic look.
