Since the oakshott j1 disc pommels are often found on historic english swords, red dragon armoury has decided to include them in its range to acknowledge its country of production. they are made from a special mix of plastic and metal powder to increase their weight and thus shift the centre of gravity of the training sword they are mounted on closer to the crossguard.
