Early medieval clay plate, 22 cm

This dish, which can be used in a variety of ways, was turned by hand on a potter's wheel, as in the past. It is modelled on historical models with the help of archaeological institutes, monument offices and museums and is made of ochre clay, which is extremely stable when fired at 1,200°C.
For hygienic reasons, the dinner plate is enamelled. The enamel is not only food-safe, but also free of lead compounds and toxic substitutes. The plate is dishwasher-safe.

German craftsmanship, guaranteed without industrial aid, because that would be neither historic nor authentic!
