Treat Yourself to a German Saucer with Sight, Show Fight, 2mm Steel
German saucer hood with visor, 2 mm steel
- Suitable for combat shows -
This saucer bell (also called a kettle bell or bascinet helmet) is a reconstruction based on a find from 1370. The original is in the Valeria Museum, Sitten, Switzerland. The helmet has a foldable and removable visor, which is why it is also known as a bascinet-type folding visor . The closing bonnet was developed from the braincase bonnet in the early 14th century.
The helmet is handcrafted from 2 mm thick sheet steel, riveted and welded, and its robustness guarantees great protection in exhibition combat.
The helmet has a comfortable padded fabric entrance. The brass rivets on the sides are used to attach a chainmail carrier to the chest and shoulders. We have these chainmail armors in our range in different types of braids, which can be found in the "Chainmail Armor" category.
