Roman belt plate, she-wolf with Romulus and Remus, brass



This rectangular belt plate made of fine brass sheet can be easily attached to the cingulum or balteus of a Roman legionary thanks to the pre-drilled holes. It is engraved with the famous motif of the she-wolf (or Roman lupa ) suckling Romulus and Remus. In Roman mythology, the twins are considered the founders of the city of Rome.



This belt accessory is ideal for building your own Roman belts and is also ideal as a replacement part for existing legionary belts. It can be easily combined with our plate with human head motif (sold separately, item no. 1616757200). Delivery does not include mounting material.
