Flintlock dueling pistols, Espingolen, set of 2, 18th century, brass, replica
Decorative guns with mobile mechanism
– Not fireable –
Replica of an 18th-century espingole pistol, also known as a trabuco pistol or tromblon . A characteristic feature of this flintlock pistol was its funnel-shaped muzzle, which made it easier to load shot into the barrel. In the age of sailing ships, this firearm enjoyed great popularity among both naval forces and pirates.
The unusual stock of this beautiful muzzle-loading replica is made of synthetic resin (wood imitation). Except for the artfully crafted lock, all metal elements (barrel, ramrod, trigger guard, and decorative ring on the grip) have an antique brass finish.
Our firearm replicas are for recreation and decoration purposes only. The gun's mechanics are fully movable, but this reproduction is not functional. The ramrod is permanently attached.
A beautiful addition to any collection and an essential accessory for the reenactor of this period.
