Acquire French Blunderbuss Pistol, Espingole, 18th Century, Replica
French blunderbuss pistol, espingole, 18th century, replica
Decorative gun with mobile mechanism
– Not fireable –
Replica of an 18th-century French blunderbuss pistol (ca. 1760), also known as an espingole or trombone pistol. A characteristic feature of this large flintlock pistol was its funnel-shaped muzzle, which made it easier to load shot into the barrel. In the age of sailing ships, this firearm enjoyed great popularity among both naval forces and pirates.
This muzzle-loading replica is made of metal and synthetic resin (wood imitation), materials that guarantee its longevity. The stock and all metal components (barrel, locking plate, hammer, and trigger) are decorated with great detail.
Our firearm replicas are for recreation and decoration purposes only. The gun's mechanics are fully movable, but this reproduction is not functional. The ramrod is permanently attached.
A beautiful addition to any collection and an essential accessory for the reenactor of this period.
