Pirate flintlock pistol, 18th century, brass, replica
Decorative gun with mobile mechanism
– Not fireable –
Replica of an 18th-century blunderbuss pistol, also known as an espingole or trombone pistol. A characteristic feature of this flintlock pistol was its funnel-shaped muzzle, which made it easier to load shot into the barrel. In the age of sailing ships, this firearm enjoyed great popularity among naval forces, as well as among privateers and pirates of all stripes.
The simple, yet elegant and shapely stock of this muzzle-loading replica is made of synthetic resin (wood imitation). Except for the artfully crafted lock, all metal components (barrel, ramrod, and trigger guard) have a brass look with an antique finish.
Our firearm replicas are for recreation and decoration purposes only. The gun's mechanics are fully movable, but this reproduction is not functional. The ramrod is permanently attached.
A beautiful addition to any collection and an essential accessory for the reenactor of this period, as well as for LARP, carnival and costumes.
