The Hanwei Pipe Hawk is a replica of a museum piece from the era of the French fur trade with Native Americans. This pipe hatchet is fully functional as both an axe and a pipe. The axe blade, pipe bowl, and mouthpiece are made of steel.

Like the original, the axe head houses a removable mandrel at the top of the shaft for cleaning the smoke channel.
