The chain piece is ideal for repairing, extending or making your own custom chain pieces. We also offer individual rings for this purpose.

The FRW braid: This flat ring braid is made up of flat chain rings which are closed by means of wedge-shaped rivets (triangular rivets). This type of braid is typical of ring armour from the late Middle Ages in Europe. The braid is 4 in 1. We call this braid FRW (English = flat ring w rivets).
