Goza Shoulder Leather Made of Nordland Snail Skin, Black
Shoulder skin made of Nordland snail skin, black
As winter approached and the Viking nights grew longer and darker again, it was time to prepare. After long raids in search of food and treasure, the men returned to their villages for the winter and reported on their successes.
Even back then, Vikings, as we know them, had to dress warmly enough to avoid falling victim to the cold.
But what options did they have?
The animal skin, now most often found on the floor as a decorative accessory, was a very popular tool in medieval times. But especially in winter, skins were a warming miracle. But even when the days grew longer and the sun came out more often, skins could still be used, for example, as a seat cushion to make a chair or stool more comfortable.
This fur is perfect for getting closer to the wild warrior or the brave Viking. Whether at a Viking festival or a medieval market, with this shoulder fur, no cold will stand in your way.
Since our hides are natural products, slight variations in color, hair length, or size are completely normal. They are untreated and therefore contain no chemicals. Thanks to the tailored shape at the shoulders and neck, there are no creases or hair sticking out. So nothing will stand in the way of the next big event!
