Get Houndstooth, Hand Forged in Steel.
Houndstooth, hand-forged in steel
Replica of a medieval crow's foot, also known as a throwing iron or wolf's ear. The crow's foot consists of four points. Three of them form the supporting legs, while one point always points vertically upwards. The Romans already used crow's feet, which were called tribulus . In the Middle Ages, thousands of them were scattered on the battlefield before battle to weaken enemy cavalry.
Our reconstructions are hand-forged from a single piece of steel so that the individual prongs separate while hot. They should only be used for authentic representation. Our houndstooth crow's foot also makes a perfect decorative candle holder.
