The original feldspar used by the Soviet special forces Spetsnaz unit was the model for the Cold Steels® Spetsnaz® shovel . Spetsnaz soldiers were the elite unit of the Soviet Union, comparable to the American Green Berets .



With its sturdy wooden handle and wide, flat blade made of medium carbon steel with 3 sharp edges, it is ideal for digging trenches and bunkers, cutting branches or building shelters, among other things. It can also be used as an improvised paddle or even as a defensive tool in a critical situation, and it is also a great alternative to the tomahawk for sporting and recreational throwers!
