Spetsnaz® trench shovel

As a model for Cold Steels® Spetsnaz® special forces, the shovel (item no. 92sf) was the original feldspar used by the Soviet Spetsnaz special unit. With its sturdy wooden handle and wide, flat steel blade with three sharp edges, it is ideal for digging trenches and bunkers, cutting branches, or building shelters, among other things. It can also be used as an improvised oar or even as a defensive tool in a critical situation—and is also an excellent alternative to the tomahawk for sports and recreational throwers!

The new, larger variant, called the Spetsnaz® Trench Shovel (roughly Trench Spade or Trench Shovel ), has the same positive features as the proven special forces model, but offers additional advantages due to its larger size. It is 50% longer and has a slightly larger blade.
