Spetsnaz® trench shovel



As a model for the Cold Steels® Special Forces Spetsnaz® Shovel (item no. 92sf) was the original feldspar shovel used by the Soviet special forces Spetsnaz unit. With its sturdy wooden handle and wide, flat steel blade with 3 sharp cutting edges, it is ideal for digging trenches and bunkers, chopping branches or building shelters, among other things. It can also be used as an improvised paddle or even as a defensive tool in a critical situation – and is also an excellent alternative to the tomahawk for sporting and recreational throwers!



The new, larger variant, called the spetsnaz® trench shovel (roughly trench spade or trench shovel ) has the same positive features as the proven special forces model, but offers additional advantages due to its larger size. It is 50% longer and has a slightly larger blade.
