Outdoorsman Lite, outdoor knife with a blade made of 4116 stainless steel

Following the huge success of the Pendleton Lite Hunter knife, Cold Steel® decided to also release a less expensive version of this incredibly popular outdoorsman knife. The blade, guard, and pommel design are similar to the more expensive version, but it features a blade made of 4116 stainless steel and a newly designed handle.

The handle is made up of two parts. The protective element, the pommel, and the grip, which completely covers the continuous tang, are made of polypropylene. An outer layer of Kray-Ex™ covers the handle sheath, ensuring slip resistance and easy cleaning with soap and water.

For safe and convenient carrying while traveling, the knife comes with a versatile, discreet, pouch-like polymer sheath that includes a belt loop, so you can easily carry it on your hip or store it in your backpack or tackle box.

4116 stainless steel knife

4116 steel is a fine-grained stainless steel for knives. It is often used for pharmaceutical equipment and high-quality kitchen knives. Its balanced carbon-chromium ratio ensures first-class rust protection and high strength. It can be ground to very fine and extremely sharp cutting edges. An excellent choice for hunting/outdoor knives and kitchen knives and utensils.
