Acquire Wakizashi Orchid
Orchid wakizashi
With its relatively light blade made of folded K120C powder steel and its impressive koshirae, the Orchid Wakizashi from Hanwei by Paul Chen is not only beautiful but also agile. The hardness line (hamon) stands out clearly, and the hamon shows distinct, easily recognizable layers. This samurai sword has a medium-length kissaki.
High-quality ray skin (similar) was used for the tsuka, and the tsuka-ito and sageo are woven from high-quality Japanese cotton. Contrasting orchid and butterfly motifs in silver, brass, and copper adorn the blackened iron tsuba.
The saya is painted dark blue, the koiguchi and kurikata are made of buffalo horn. The fuchi, kashira, and kojiri are made of bronze-coated iron with silver and gold details. The habaki was made of a single piece of brass.
You can complete your collection with the matching orchid katana (item number sh1207) and orchid tanto (item number sh1209).
