The elegant shape of Paul Chen/Hanwei's Golden Oriole Wakizashi has long been very popular among lovers of Japanese swords.

Her stunningly beautiful tsuba tells the story of a praying mantis who ambushes a cricket, but does not realize that she herself is being attacked by an oriole (also known as a goldamsel in German) being hunted.

The hand-forged carbon steel blade has been differentially hardened and therefore has a pronounced hardness line ( hamon ). The deep blue saya repeats the tsuka-ito made of Japanese cotton, and a cricket adorns the kashira . Each wakizashi comes to protect the sword. With a matching cloth sheath and a Japanese sword care kit.
