The unique properties of cast iron were already appreciated back then. With the Petromax fire pot, this tradition is continued and it is also equipped with many sophisticated details.

Thanks to the excellent properties of cast iron and the special surface structure, heat is stored and transferred efficiently. The pre-treated surface (seasoned finish) makes initial baking unnecessary and the robust brazier can be used immediately. Outdoors, it is used over an open fire or with charcoal. The raised edge of the lid allows embers or charcoal to be placed on the brazier. The brazier heats up from all sides and is also suitable, for example, for baking bread.

The brazier has sophisticated details that make it easy to handle and increase the pleasure of cooking. A sturdy handle allows the brazier to be lifted safely, three feet give the brazier a secure base and a thermometer port allows the temperature to be checked without having to lift the lid. If you want to lift the hot lid, this is especially easy with the Petromax Lid Lifter. Another highlight is that the lid can also be used as an upside-down saucepan. The Petromax Dutch oven is available in various sizes, so you can choose the right pot for your recipe or the number of people. In the ft1 version with legs, the pot has a capacity of approx. 0.93 litres. Sauces and cakes can be prepared with it. In addition to the lid lifter, other accessories for the Petromax brazier are available, such as care paste, trivet and ring cleaner for cleaning cast iron.< br />
