To refine our nutty specialty, we selected a very special cask, which was first filled with the finest Italian Amarone red wine and then used to finish a Craigellachie single malt whisky.
An imperial stout was then stored in the Wacken brewery's stout until we use this barrel and mature our walnut schnapps in it.
The still slightly present nutty aromas of the red wine harmonize perfectly with the subtle vanilla and honey notes of the Speyside whisky. The coffee and chocolate character of this dark, strong beer also resonates in the interplay of aromas and underlines the soft nutty flavor of the walnut.

We let our walnut schnapps mature for over two years in a unique red wine barrel that had been pre-filled three times until its full, complex, and unique aroma developed.
Enjoy this barrel-aged specialty mindfully. Enjoy your senses in special moments away from the hustle and bustle.
