The Scallion is already one of Kershaw’s most popular knives, but Kershaw thought they could take it a step further. That’s why the folding knife received great-looking handle scales in a bright purple ( jewel-tone purple ). So if you’ve been wanting a more colorful Scallion for a while, this model might be the one for you.

The handy blade, approximately 6 cm long, remains unchanged, making this model the ideal size and weight to comfortably fit in your pocket, purse, or backpack.

The blade is made of 420HC stainless steel with a high carbon content and therefore has good edge retention and excellent corrosion resistance. It has a glass bead-peened finish that gives it a smooth, matte look and is also easy to clean. The handle of the Purple Scallion knife is made from steel plates and anodized aluminum scales. Anodizing allows the aluminum to be coated in every color imaginable (a stunning violet was created here), provides better scratch protection, and also has a reinforcing effect on the metal. This makes the handle stable, lightweight, and colorful at the same time.

Like the other folding knives in the Scallion collection, this model features the SpeedSafe ambidextrous opening mechanism. Simply press the protruding flap or push the joystick forward, and the blade will extend from the handle and be ready to use in no time.

For optimal safety, the purple-handled scallion features a double lock: a liner lock ensures the blade is securely locked when open, so it can't accidentally close during use. And when the scallion is closed, a tip-lock slider holds the blade firmly in place, making it impossible to accidentally open it during transport.
