The popular Scallion is now available in a beautiful new color: Olive Green or Olive Green (I >). If you are looking for a folding knife that shows off some color while still maintaining a low-key appearance, this model might be the one for you.

Like all models in the Scallion family, this knife with its approximately 6cm long blade is the ideal size and weight to be carried comfortably in your pocket. And just because it's small doesn't mean it can't handle almost any task you throw at it, from shredding cardboard boxes to slicing apples for a snack.

The blade is made from 420HC stainless steel with a high carbon content and therefore has good edge retention and excellent corrosion resistance. It has a glass bead-blasted finish which gives it a matte look and is also easy to clean. To achieve this discreet olive green colour, the scales of the aluminium handle are anodised. Thanks to this process, which allows aluminium to be coated in any imaginable colour, Kershaw can produce handles with a colourful and scratch-resistant surface.

Like the other folding knives in the Scallion collection, this model is equipped with the SpeedSafe ambidextrous opening mechanism. With this system, the blade can be opened with one hand, which is an added advantage when you are outdoors. Simply press the protruding flipper or push the joystick forward and the blade will extend from the handle and be ready to use in no time.

For optimum safety, the olive-handled scallion is double-locking: a liner lock ensures that the blade is securely locked when open, so that it cannot be accidentally closed during use. It also closes easily after use. And when the scallion is closed, a tip-lock slider holds the blade firmly in position and makes it impossible to accidentally open it during transport.
