Like all models in the Scallion family, this knife, with its approximately 6cm long blade, is the ideal size and weight to fit comfortably in your pocket. And just because it's small doesn't mean it can't handle almost any task you throw at it, from shredding cardboard boxes to slicing apples for a snack.

The blade is made of 420HC stainless steel with a high carbon content, offering good edge retention and excellent corrosion resistance. It has a glass bead-peened finish that gives it a matte look and is also easy to clean. To achieve this subtle olive-green color, the aluminum handle scales are anodized. Thanks to this process, which allows the aluminum to be coated in any imaginable color, Kershaw can produce handles with a colorful, scratch-resistant surface.

Like the other folding knives in the Scallion collection, this model is equipped with the SpeedSafe ambidextrous opening mechanism. With this system, the blade can be opened with one hand, which is an added advantage when you're outdoors. Simply press the protruding flap or push the joystick forward, and the blade will extend from the handle and be ready to use in no time.

For optimal safety, the olive-handled scallion features a double lock: a liner lock ensures the blade is securely locked when open, so it can't accidentally close during use. It also snaps shut easily after use. And when the scallion is closed, a tip-lock slider holds the blade firmly in place and makes it impossible to accidentally open it during transport.
