The Scallion is already one of Kershaw's most popular knives, but Kershaw thought the man could take it a step further and that's why the folding knife received beautiful black aluminum handles.

The very practical blade, approximately 6 cm long, remains unchanged. This model also has the ideal size and weight to comfortably carry in your pocket, purse, or backpack.

The blade is made of 420HC stainless steel with a high carbon content and therefore has good edge retention and excellent corrosion resistance. The stonewashed finish gives it a smooth, matte look and is also easy to care for. The handle of the black scallion knife is made of steel plates, and the scales are made of anodized aluminum. Anodizing allows the aluminum to be coated in any color imaginable (a fantastic matte black was created here), provides better protection against scratches, and also has a reinforcing effect on the metal. This makes the handle stable, lightweight, and colorful at the same time.

Whether left- or right-handed, the scallion can be opened quickly and effortlessly thanks to the SpeedSafe opening mechanism and ambidextrous flippers. Simply press the flipper and the blade extends from the handle, ready to use in no time.

For optimal safety, the black scallion has a double lock: a liner lock ensures the blade is securely locked during use, and when the scallion is closed, a tip-lock slider holds the blade firmly in position for safe transport.
