The Scallion is already one of Kershaw's most popular pocket knives, and it's no wonder. With its approximately 6 cm long blade, this folding knife is the ideal size and weight to fit comfortably in your pocket. And just because it's small doesn't mean it lacks power. On the contrary, the Scallion can handle almost any task you throw at it, from shredding cardboard boxes to cutting string and opening packages.

The high-carbon stainless steel blade has good edge retention and excellent corrosion resistance and has an easy-care glass-peened surface. The handle of this model is an all-stainless steel construction, allowing Kershaw to install a frame lock ( frame lock , an extremely stable locking mechanism): when opened, a separate part of the rear handle scale springs inward behind the blade, ensuring a secure locking of the blade so that it cannot be accidentally closed during use. And when the scallion is closed, a tip-lock slider holds the blade tip firmly in position between the handle scales. As long as the slide is not unlocked manually, accidental opening during transport is impossible.

One of the Scallion's interesting features is its SpeedSafe two-hand opening mechanism. With this system, the blade can be opened with one hand. Simply press the protruding flap or push the joystick forward, and the blade will extend from the handle and be ready to use in no time.
