With its approximately 6 cm long blade, the Kershaw Scallion is a smaller folding knife that's the ideal size to slip into your pants pocket. And just because it's small doesn't mean it lacks power. On the contrary, the Scallion can handle almost any task you throw at it, from shredding cardboard boxes to cutting thread and slicing apples for lunch.

The high-carbon stainless steel blade has good edge retention and excellent corrosion resistance, and features an easy-care glass bead-peened surface. The classic, structured black handle scales made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon are durable, lightweight, and easy to care for.

And to ensure this handy little knife is ready to use when needed, the Scallion is equipped with the ambidextrous SpeedSafe opening mechanism. Simply press the protruding flap or push the joystick forward, and the blade will extend from the handle and be ready to use in no time.

For optimal safety, the scallion has a double lock: a liner lock ensures the blade is securely locked when open, so it cannot be accidentally closed during use, and when the scallion is closed, the tip-lock slider holds the blade firmly in position and makes it impossible to accidentally open it during transport.
