The Leek is one of Kershaw's most popular pocket knives for many reasons. Thanks to its slim, easy-to-carry design and wide range of uses, it may be the ideal EDC ( everyday carry ) knife. The slim, approximately 7.6 cm long blade is perfect for most everyday tasks. With its modified drop-point blade, this knife is well suited for slicing, but the narrow blade tip also gives it good piercing properties, making it extremely practical for fine work. The blade, made of high-performance Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel, is very sharp and also has high edge retention.

Like the other onion knives*, the Leek is equipped with the SpeedSafe opening mechanism. Whether you're right- or left-handed, simply press the flipper with both hands or slide the joystick forward, and the blade is ready to use.

But the most striking feature of this particular Leek model is probably the olive green ( olive green or OD green ) color of the handle. This unique color is both unusual and subtle. It's a fade- and scratch-resistant paint that's firmly bonded to the anodized aluminum of the handle scales. So, it looks good now and won't lose any of its beautiful appearance over time.

A stable liner lock, which ensures the blade is securely locked when open, and a tip-lock slider that holds the blade firmly in position when the leek is closed.

The reversible pocket clip is for both a tip-up and upside-down carry, and a hole in the handle allows you to attach a lanyard.
