Kershaw and Rick Hinderer have teamed up to create the Kershaw Ember, a sleek, smaller-format pocket knife.

What's the first thing you'll notice? What will catch your eye, of course, is its size. The blade is only 5 cm long, and when closed, the knife has a compact size of approximately 1.5 cm. The next thing you'll notice is its striking appearance. The corners and angles, the contours, the matte gray coating, and the black fittings give the knife a tactical look that will delight knife users.

The Ember is equipped with the SpeedSafe® opening mechanism and can be opened effortlessly using the practical integrated flipper. The back of the modified clip-point blade has an ergonomic recess that serves as a practical finger rest when precise and controlled edge guidance is required during fine work. A sturdy frame lock ensures the blade is securely locked during use.

The blade has been heat-treated to Kershaw's exacting standards to extract the finest steel. A titanium carbonitride coating on the blade and handle provides a matte gray finish. Black hardware, including a three-position pocket clip, adds the finishing touches to this pocket knife's look.
