The Dividend is more striking than ever with its new composite blade and machined, anodized aluminum handle. Kershaw's patented composite blade technology combines two steels into a single blade. In this case, CPM D2 and Böhler N690. Kershaw applied Böhler N690 to the top of the blade to take advantage of its corrosion resistance and exceptional toughness. Additionally, they put the D2 at the forefront to benefit from its wear resistance, toughness, and excellent edge retention. The two steels were then permanently bonded in a tooth-like pattern for a warbird-like style.
