The Cathode isn't very extravagant, but it is ultra-functional. The approximately 5.7 cm long tanto blade does a great job of both cutting and stabbing. On the top of the blade, a top grind (which tapers or sharpens toward the back of the blade) gives it that extra style, while the thumb ramp with pronounced notches (or grooves) ensures a secure grip, especially when using the blade for fine work. You have to hold it shorter.

With the SpeedSafe opening mechanism and integrated flipper, the blade can be opened effortlessly with one hand. And since the knife is equipped with a flipper, it doesn't matter whether you're right- or left-handed.

The stainless steel handle is adorned with a repeating pattern created through pressure hardening, which not only guarantees a beautiful appearance but also ensures an even better grip. A stable frame lock ensures the blade is securely locked during use.
