If you don't have a Kershaw Blur yet, it's probably only because you've never owned one. I've never had the chance to hold one in my hand. Because as soon as this happens, you immediately understand why this knife has cemented itself as one of the favorites of the kershaw range over the years.

The blur is equipped with a generously sized blade, which, thanks to its slight recurved grind, is perfect for a wide range of cutting jobs. And this shape gives it not only a high cutting capacity, but also excellent piercing properties. The high-performance stainless steel sandvik 14c28n used for this is characterized by its corrosion resistance and hardness. In this blur with olive green ( olive green or od green ) colored handle, the blade has been dlc ( diamond-like carbon ) coated. For even better protection against wear and corrosion. This dlc coating is hard, non-reflective and simply looks fantastic.

In the blur model offered here, the black dlc blade coating and the integrated black anti-slip inserts in the handle scales are made of . trac-tec grip tape , which ensures optimum grip, in coordinated colours. the handle itself is made of durable anodised aluminium 6061-t6 – an aluminium that is sometimes referred to as aircraft aluminium due to its widespread use in the manufacture of aircraft parts. its main advantages include its light weight, its extremely high durability and the fact that it can be coloured (by anodising), allowing kershaw to produce colourful handles with a scratch-resistant and particularly durable surface.

The blur is equipped with the speedsafe® opening mechanism and can therefore be easily opened with one hand. By briefly pushing the joystick forward, the spring resistance of the torsion bar in the speedsafe mechanism is overcome. The speedsafe takes care of the rest and the blade can be quickly and easily extended from the handle. The convertible pocket clip is for both a tip-up and a tip-down style carry and a hole in the handle allows you to attach a lanyard.
