With its more angular profile, the Tanto provides even better piercing properties; the blade can penetrate tough material even better. Its unique shape, in which the material thickness is maintained up to just before the tip, ensures additional stability when piercing. The short front edge is also particularly practical for opening packages. The cutting edge is hollow and therefore very sharp. And the partially serrated edge offers expanded application possibilities, making it ideal, for example, for cutting straps or ropes. All this makes the Tanto Blur a good choice for situations where you need to influence your surroundings. In an emergency, it could really save your life.

The high-performance Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel used for the blade features excellent corrosion resistance and hardness, and the non-reflective black DLC ( Diamond-Like Carbon ) coating provides additional corrosion protection. The black anodized 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum handle with non- slip Trac-Tec grip tape inserts completes the pocket knife's understated, matte look.
The Tanto Blur is equipped with the SpeedSafe® opening mechanism and can therefore be easily opened with one hand. By briefly pushing the joystick forward, the resistance of the torsion bar spring in the SpeedSafe mechanism is overcome. The SpeedSafe takes care of the rest, and the blade can be quickly and easily extended from the handle. The reversible pocket clip is designed for tip-up and tip-down carry, and a hole in the handle allows for attaching a lanyard.
