This knife is one of the original Kershaw Blur models that started it all.

Like all other folding knives in the blur collection, the black blur is equipped with a generously sized blade that is perfect for a wide range of cutting jobs thanks to its slight recurve grind. And this shape gives it not only great cutting capacity, but also excellent piercing properties. The sandvik 14c28n high-performance stainless steel used for this is characterized by excellent corrosion resistance and hardness. For an even more beautiful appearance and even better protection against corrosion, the blade of this pocket knife has been given a dlc ( diamond-like carbon ) coating.

As expected, the handle of the < i>Black Blur knife is characterized by an extremely high grip. For this purpose, the handles were equipped with non-slip Trac-Tec Grip Tape inserts. The handle itself is made of durable anodized aluminum 6061-T6 – an aluminum that is sometimes referred to as aircraft aluminum due to its widespread use in the manufacture of aircraft parts. Its main advantages include its light weight, extremely high durability and the fact that it can be colored (by anodizing), allowing Kershaw to produce colorful handles with a scratch-resistant and especially durable surface.

The blur is equipped with the speedsafe® opening mechanism and can therefore be easily opened with one hand. By briefly pushing the joystick forward, the spring resistance of the torsion bar in the speedsafe mechanism is overcome.
Speedsafe takes care of the rest and the blade can be extended quickly and easily from the handle.

The reversible pocket clip is designed for both tip-up and tip-down carry styles, and a hole in the handle allows you to attach a lanyard.
