Kershaw has perfected one of its most popular knives, the Black Blur , with its fantastic blackwash finish.

Blackwash gives the blade a worn-in look, like your favorite distressed jeans. This finish also provides additional protection to the metal and helps hide any signs of wear, such as scratches.

Like all other knives in the Blur collection, this Blackwash version is equipped with a generously dimensioned blade which, thanks to its slight recurved grind, is perfect for a wide range of cutting work. And this shape gives it not only great cutting capacity, but also excellent piercing properties. The high-performance Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel used for this is characterised by corrosion resistance and excellent edge retention. The handle is made of durable anodised aluminium 6061-T6 – an aluminium that is sometimes referred to as aircraft aluminium due to its widespread use in the manufacture of aircraft parts. Its main advantages include its light weight, extremely high durability and the fact that it can be coloured (by anodising), allowing Kershaw to produce colourful handles with a scratch-resistant and particularly durable surface. For an extra secure grip, the handle housings are fitted with non-slip Trac-Tec grip tape inserts.

The blur is equipped with the speedsafe® opening mechanism and can therefore be easily opened with one hand. By briefly pushing the joystick forward, the spring resistance of the torsion bar in the speedsafe mechanism is overcome. The speedsafe takes care of the rest and the blade can be quickly and easily extended from the handle. The convertible pocket clip is for both a tip-up and a tip-down style carry and a hole in the handle allows you to attach a lanyard.
