Immerse yourself deeper into the world of Blur by Kershaw and discover the S30V Blur. This model's main feature is its blade made of S30V powder-treated stainless steel. Because powdered steel has a higher density and finer grain, it can be sharpened extremely finely and retains its edge for longer. This steel is characterized by its high toughness, wear resistance, and hardness.

Like all the other folding knives in the Blur collection, the S30V Blur is equipped with a generously sized blade that's perfect for a wide range of cutting tasks thanks to its slight recurve grind. This shape gives it not only great cutting ability but also excellent piercing properties. The stonewashed finish gives the blade surface a rough, non-reflective appearance.

This premium blade is paired with anodized 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum handle scales that have been milled to provide anti-reflective protection. Slip-on inserts are covered with Trac-Tec grip tape. This ensures a secure hold in virtually all weather conditions. Anodizing not only allows the aluminum to be coated in any color imaginable, allowing Kershaw to produce colorful handles, but it also has a reinforcing effect on the metal. For a nice, clean look, both the handle scales and Trac-Tec inserts are a simple black.

The S30V Blur is equipped with the SpeedSafe® opening mechanism and can therefore be easily opened with one hand. By briefly pushing the joystick forward, the resistance of the torsion bar spring in the SpeedSafe mechanism is overcome. The SpeedSafe takes care of the rest, and the blade can be quickly and easily extended from the handle. The reversible pocket clip is designed for tip-up and tip-down carry, and a hole in the handle allows for attaching a lanyard.
