Cold Steels® designed by custom knifemaker Andrew Demko, the Grik is a functional, pocket-sized EDC and utility knife.



Its unusual modified spear point blade is made from Japanese Aus 8A steel. It has been expertly hardened and cryo-treated and offers the perfect balance between edge retention and re-sharpenability. A flat notch on the back of the blade serves as a comfortable thumb rest for optimal leverage during demanding jobs and as a rest for the index finger when performing fine work with the tip of the blade.



The two-tone satin surface with visible sharpening lines and the contrasting polymer thumb disk with htr&trade coating give the blade an unusual look, making the knife not only easy to use, but also pleasing to the eye!



What really makes the Grik stand out from the crowd is its handle! It is made of ergonomically shaped, glass-fibre reinforced nylon and is equipped with a replaceable, reversible clip. It has such a low and flat profile that the knife fits comfortably and particularly discreetly into any pocket. In addition, the pocket clip is made of polymer for an incredibly comfortable grip. This way, the palm of your hand is freed from the typical pressure points that often arise when using a knife with a steel clip for a long time. And unlike steel clips, damage to the paint or cracks in the leather seats of your car are excluded here!



The Grik is equipped with Cold Steel's proven Tri-Ad® locking mechanism, which is still unparalleled in terms of safety and stability. This knife is a durable and practical tool that will soon become an integral part of your daily life.



Stainless steel aus 8a

Cold Steel® has been using the same expertly hardened Japanese Aus 8A steel for nearly three decades. This steel has been extremely tested and has proven over the years to be ideal for making blades for work knives – it is hard and corrosion resistant, with good edge retention and is also easy to sharpen.
