The Extrema Ratio Frame Rock is a new pocket knife based on the design of the Ti-Rock, a successful custom framelock knife that Extrema Ratio made for a renowned Italian distributor.

The Extrema Ratio Frame Rock is characterised by the titanium handle, which offers great strength whilst remaining very light. The integrity and longevity of the Frame Lock is guaranteed by a heat-treated steel insert which can be easily replaced. Unlike its drop point predecessor, the Frame Rock features a spear point blade measuring 75mm long and 6mm thick for even greater lightness and a cleat is provided. The blade made from Bohler N690 steel has been heat treated to 58 HRC. It is available in black with DLC coating or with a stonewashed finish.

To make opening even smoother and more effortless, the blade is fitted with ball bearings. This mechanism allows the user to adjust the force required to release the blade from the closed position using a screw. The large, well-proportioned handle and the robust blade will allow you to tackle even difficult tasks. The Frame Rock weighs only 270g, therefore it is quite light for such a robust knife. It has a mechanism that allows the user to adjust the force required to release the blade from the closed position thanks to a thumb stud. A locking screw secures the adjustment screw after it has been set in the desired position.

The adjustable clip is designed to allow for pocket carrying, with the knife being as little visible as possible from the outside. Milled recesses in the handle facilitate one-handed opening using the classic two-handed pin on the blade and facilitate handle transitions.

With an overall length of 181 mm, the knife belongs to the category of medium-sized folders, and the large, solid handle and sturdy, well-proportioned blade allow it to tackle even heavy tasks without having to worry about failing. However, the Frame Rock only weighs 270 g, making it quite light for such a robust knife. It comes with a special ABS casing.
