Cold Steels® President Lynn C. Thompson has always been a big fan of the classic puukko ’s sleek lines and reliable, yet highly practical, blade shape. Since Cold Steels® founded the company in 1980, the vision for this iconic Finnish hunting and utility knife has always been with her.

Over the years, Cold Steel® has launched numerous versions of the Puukko. Now, we proudly present this folding and travel knife: the Finn Wolf!

This pocket knife was created in collaboration with knifemaker Andrew Demko. Andrew drew inspiration from the classic Finnish puukko and used his technical talent to create a folding knife for rugged applications. This modern EDC ( every day carry ) knife is slim, super lightweight, easy to carry, and even easier to use. It may be the perfect knife for everyone.

The Finnish Wolf features a Cold Steels® Tri-AD® locking mechanism that sets new standards in safety. It is completely impact-resistant and therefore remains safe to operate even under the toughest conditions.

Its satin-finished blade made of AUS 8A Japanese stainless steel can easily withstand hours of hard work and is easy to sharpen with its zero-ground sharpening.

Cold Steel® has used the same expertly hardened AUS 8A Japanese steel for nearly three decades. This steel has been thoroughly tested and proven over the years to be ideal for making work knife blades: it's hard and corrosion-resistant, with good edge retention, and is also easy to sharpen.
